This kind of person that they exemplify in this ad is what is wrong with America today. They want everything handed to them by an all powerful benevolent government. That's why AFSME has a hand in this ad. It used to be that women were proud of their sons serving their country but not with moveon.org people. I feel as though there will a heightened state of anymosity this election season. I think many people will take great offense to ads like this and take their greviences to the streets. We'll see what happens, as always I am prepared.

When I saw this commercial I was left scratching my head.

Why would John McCain want baby Alex when we have an all volunteer Military?

I do believe it's baby Alex's choice if he want's to join the Armed Forces when he turns 18!

And they keep distorting this 100 year quote McCain said. McCain meant we might leave bases there for who knows how long, but we have NEVER liberated a Country and NOT left bases there.

It is so sad when the liberals keep infiltrating the news and air waves witha a media ready and willing to repeat their lies.

This ad is a sham to say the least and worse still is some people will believe this to be fact - without ever doing any investigating, reading, and learning on their own.

So many in America now just believe whatever they see and hear. It truly is sad and that is why ads like this send not only the wrong message but are also dangerous.

You have a nice blog here. I am glad I followed here from Gayle's wonderful blog. I will ad your blog on my Links page, which is always growing with insightful and intelligent blogs such as yours.

Well then, you ignorant ----, what essentially you've done is ensure you and your future generations will be genuflecting, bending and bowing towards Mecca five times daily. How's THAT for freedom? Just LET Islam ring!

And, of course, in keeping with MoveOn.org, it was a SINGLE MOTHER with NO father extant -- you know, the PREFERRED LIBERAL METHOD of raising a child.

If I ever have kids, he can't have mine either. Let the Presidents and the Son's of Exxon fight the wars since they are the only ones who benefit from them.

JG:

What crock of shit have you been feeding from?

People are proud when their sons serve in wars that are needed and not based on lies. If McCain would have said that about Afghanistan no one would have made that ad.

Keep your blinders on and your wallets open...mouth breather.

Marie:

Do you really think that 80 years from now people will be volunteering for the military just to be used as cannon fodder for IEDs?

Small steps.

McCain has two sons serving. More Republicans in Congress have served than Democrats.

So is there a point you're trying to make here? Take the time to thank the troops, please, that you're able to spew idiocy and also "benefit from them".

People are proud when their sons serve in wars that are needed and not based on lies.

Then quit lying to soldiers and the American public, toad.

What kind of a professional military would we have, if soldiers simply got to "pick and choose" what wars they want to fight in, and what wars they don't? Should they be policy makers, too? Should they not follow orders because "they don't feel like it"? Because they've bought into your political lies?

Do you really think that 80 years from now people will be volunteering for the military just to be used as cannon fodder for IEDs?

You exemplify the very distortion marie speaks of. And what's sad, is you do so willfully with no attempt at honesty.

layla,

Thanks for the visit. I'll reciprocate, in kind.

Toadbat is another of those bloodsucking parasites on the freedom hard won by others... Typical leftie.

Perhaps he would appreciate his freedom more if he knew what it was to lose it.

I love it when people preach to me about pride in service. Like I wouldn't know anything about that, right?

For the record - I have four kids, and you can expect to see us taking over the military in about 15 years.
