An Important Pre-Election Announcement
Just a note to say I hope my readers (all five of you) have registered to vote. I, in no way, want to influence anyone's vote or try to impose my intellectual views concerning the election. However, I do want to remind you of the change made in the voting schedule due to the unexpectedly large mid-term election turn out that will take place this year.
Republicans will vote on Tuesday, November 7th.
Democrats will vote on Wednesday, November 8th.
Make sure your friends are made aware of this; especially your liberal friends. We wouldn't want them to unnecessarily tie up traffic on Republican Tuesday, and embarrass themselves.
Happy voting, everyone.

Updates on my Jon Carry cartoon collection, btw. New ones are placed at the top.
I'll go see the cartoons, Wordsmith. I love the pics you've got on this post. LOL! The voting device one probably would be far too complicated for many people. :)
Has this voting equipment been vetted by Nancy Pelosi in West Palm Beach, FL yet?
And somehow even we did boil voting downto something this simple, a liberal progressive would figure out a way to protest it. How? I am not sure, my brain is not in a pretzel. But they would figure a way.
C'mon Anna, you know Dems have never, ever won in a fair election. Why start now?
Love it Word! You are the best!!
Oh man somebody better post the new Voting Schedual over at Huffpo, and Daily Kos. I think they think they vote Tuesday instead of Wednesday!
LOL :-) I absolutely loooooooooove the pic at the top and I actually thought about saying the exact same thing on my post about the 2 different voting days. Great minds think alike.
It's the big day! I woke up early this morning feeling like Christmas.
Love the Fisher Price voting set. Too bad it's too complicated for Dems to use.
GET OUT AND VOTE PEOPLE!!! VOTE GOP!!!
I actually thought about saying the exact same thing on my post about the 2 different voting days.
It did cross my mind that Dems would say, "You see...Republicans are trying to cheat!"
But it's a joke. And if anyone is seriously that stupid, and actually waited until Wednesday to vote because it said so on a blog...
...I believe I have a bridge I'd like to sell him as well at a very affordable price.
I thought you might want to check out Compete.com's blog today features information from a survey of people who have visited popular political websites in the past few months. It compares their claims to party affiliation to what their internet behavior says about them. There are some interesting trends. Yesterday and Friday's postings also look at internet traffic to popular political blogs and what that indicates.

I am not looking forward to the aftermath of the elections. We get the new voting machines here in Minnesota this time around, and I'm sure the moonbats will be in an uproar after some democrats lose.
From the blogroll and the comments thus far, I think you've got more than 5 readers...and it looks like from your readership that they picked the blue triangle.
Ok, I might have exaggerated a bit, Tom. It's more realistically like...about nine readers.
lol great post Word ..I luv it!
Poppycock! You've got more than 9 readers and you know it. :)
I watched Rush today. (I don't listen to him on the radio, I listen/watch him on the pc.) He mentioned that two-day voting thing. Some people really are stupid enough to believe it, but they shouldn't be voting anyway.
BAM! I just love the smell of voting in the morning :)
Straight up Republican!
Dammit...it would appear that one too many Democrats didn't get the message about the Wednesday voting.
(~_^) Ah, well...upward and onward.
