And to Think That I Saw It at Mike's America

I turned on my computer
And looked for something super,
I clicked the mouse key
And then shouted with GLEE!

FOR I SAW A BLOGPOST WHILE IN MY PAJAMA!
AND TO THINK THAT I SAW IT ALL AT MIKE'S AMERICA!

Ok, I admit not too imaginative of me. But go take a look at the Seussification of Mike's America.

Ah. Memories. I chanced to interview Theodore Geisel a number of years ago while working at KFBK, the AM station where Rush Limbaugh got his big break. Mr. Geisel was very mild, unassuming, one of the toughest interviews I'd done to that point; no extrovert, he. But a wonderful, wonderful mind and artist.

I had to laugh at the satirical nature of that blog. Really sort of original, but I still prefer my memories to those being used satirically.

I don't know if I really should,
What if it isn't any good?
Well, it's Mike's, it has to be,
Okay! Okay! I'll go see! ;)

I LOVE DR. SEUSS...I'm so glad I got over to Mike's today thanks to you!

I said over there that I call our jacaranda trees blooming all over West Los Angeles "Dr. Seuss trees"..PURPLE LEAVES..GREEN eggs and ham! You should have seen the German relatives two weeks ago snapping photos!

"That cannot BE a purple tree
Oh, yes it is, said I, said Z"
