This is how the GOP gains back seats in Congress:
House Dems turn out the lights but GOP keeps talking
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and the Democrats adjourned the House and turned off the lights and killed the microphones, but Republicans are still on the floor talking gas prices.
Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) and other GOP leaders opposed the motion to adjourn the House, arguing that Pelosi's refusal to schedule a vote allowing offshore drilling is hurting the American economy. They have refused to leave the floor after the adjournment motion passed at 11:23 a.m. and are busy bashing Pelosi and her fellow Democrats for leaving town for the August recess.
At one point, the lights went off in the House and the microphones were turned off in the chamber, meaning Republicans were talking in the dark. But as Rep. John Shadegg (R-Ariz..) was speaking, the lights went back on, and the microphones were turned on shortly afterward.
But C-SPAN, which has no control over the cameras in the chamber, has stopped broadcasting the House floor, meaning no one is witnessing this except the assembled Republicans, their aides, and one Democrat, Rep. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), who has now left.
Only about a half-dozen Republicans were on the floor when this began, but the crowd has grown to about 20 now, according to Patrick O'Connor.
"This is the people's House," Rep, Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) said. "This is not Pelosi's politiburo."
Democratic aides were furious at the GOP stunt, and reporters were kicked out of the Speaker's Lobby, the space next to the House floor where they normally interview lawmakers.
"You're not covering this, are you?" complaing one senior Democratic aide. Another called the Republicans "morons" for staying on the floor.

I voted for both Hillary and Obama and they used the media to brain wash young adults. An example is that some one that I cared about cheated on me with some one that just hit and ran and left me. They answer, give up your desire to control, well then I say to you all give up control of your children, you can't control your children so let them do whatever they feel like doing. Let your daughters do whatever they want to do. Let them get piercings, let them have sex with people who don't care about them just because they good guy respected them and wanted to wait it out until they were certain that these girls they cared about and, truly connected with, would not feel hurt by their sexual advances which were hampered by rejection from lack of knowledge of the social structure that controls young minds. That sort of thing just can't be repaired, its like a piece of paper; once it's ripped and crushed, it just can't ever be the same. This is the brain wash and harm that the social media the socialists seem to support/ this is the harm it does to young men, like myself, who never hated any one and, actually used to be liberal and in support of socialism. I am not voting for this man in the coming election. I am unemployed and I just don't really care about petty issues like gay marriage and equal rights for blacks, minorities and women. I just don't care and, because of my mental status, which is not a sign of weakness but a sign of remaining too strong for too long, without much help or truth, left to the mercy of psychiatry, prescription drugs and the battery of the acceptable social media. After all this, it is hard to pick myself up and get a degree so that the women I am truly most compatible with would find me attractive. Education is the only way i will ever find love now and, I'm afraid I just can't go it alone with my two disabled brothers and aging parents who can't support me for much longer. Am I supposed to accept that this is all evolution? People who dont care about others and that play messed up breeding games? Social services simply wishes to make profit off of me by offering me services, that don't seem to help and haven't for 14 years, which is another reason why I disagree with socialism, which i used to support. My social worker simply said in a very cold and hurtful way, "the time comes" just like I'm an oyster ready to be eaten by the beast of social services where she profits off of. That doesn't seem "educated" to me and I don't have a voice to fight back. I have sat and I have listened and I am NOT impressed. This man is not superman because, if he was, he'd do something about this sort of thing. Straight men can actually be victims of abuse by women which is subtle and undetectable and cold and truly cruel. I did nothing to deserve it but receive love from both my parents growing up and give my respect to women. I'm an innocent victim of backlash and a innocent victim of the previous administration. I find it hard to say I love the country I live in now, which is going to let, young men, like myself, fall into the hands of government care, which means I will never be able to have anything to call my own, I will never find love and I will never have children, I will be put into supportive housing and isolated from those I fit in with socially, if I fit in with any one socially at this point. I was left behind and it began at 13 years old when my brothers first became disabled. It must be nice growing up as the only child. Obama is a fraud and poser and he betrayed votes like mine but, I suppose since I am a minority, a white, bipolar, uneducated, unemployed,28 year old man who doesn't fit in with the social structure of this country, that my vote means nothing to either party any way. I just don't care about Natural selection and evolution. I'm not impressed and I am ashamed of what my country has become. Both parties disgust me and, if I had the ability to leave it then I would.
Some may then call me like the confederates but the difference is that I never hated any one and my family never owned slaves and, before all this, I was in favor of Obama. I tried to succeed, so failure to try is not my sin. I want this to be a testament, wherever it can be, to the failure and neglect of both parties and their desire to control. One side, your pick, bullies and ostracizes, and the other side, your pick, feeds off whatever wrong doings the first side did. People like me profit off nothing. I want freedom from this country and the social structures it uses to enslave us.
Obama is not a super man and neither are the black men who boast their lust to me because they see a white man down. This isn't something an educated well to do white man would care about because he has his material wealth and fan club or female support for his ego. I'm afraid to say that we are, truly, all equal, African Americans are just like the white bullies I grew up with in high school. Nice science experiment.
