"Save and Create"

WSJ:

something's wrong when the president invokes a formula that makes it impossible for him to be wrong and it goes largely unchallenged.

Simply amazing! Read the whole thing.

If God Himself were to come down from His throne, point to Obama and say "That man is a liar!" the press still wouldn't notice.

shoprat,
if God was to come down, the media would deny his existence and declare him a blasphemer.:)

"You would think that any self-respecting White House press corps would show some of the same skepticism toward President Obama's jobs claims that they did toward President Bush's tax cuts," says Mr. Fratto. "But I'm still waiting."

That's the problem. The White House press corp has NO self-respect.

Actually according to the editor of Newsweek, God is already here.

This is more of an issue with the media than Obama. Obama, like any other President, is going to say what he can get away with to make himself look good. This whole episode points out why we are supposed to have a free and independant press in this country, to act as a check on the government.

The White House press corp can't even ask him a tough question! The very fact that we have Obama in the White House can largely be blamed on the MSM and left wing talk shows. Oprah sure didn't do us any good!

Jobs saved is a ridiculous fiction of course. But it's no different from so many other Obama fictions that go unchallenged.

However, at some point the cumulutive effect of this disinformation campaign will become obvious and unavoidable.

Sadly though, by then the real damage to our country will already have been done.
