Is this still even news anymore?

Unbelievable! President Bush's approval rating is at a new all-time low of 32%. *Gasp* He may go down in history as the worst President ever. What?! Me worry?!? Pfft! Pity the thought! Seriously....when hasn't President Bush's poll numbers not been in the tanker in the past year?

Frankly, I'm proud to belong to that 32%. And I have no doubt whatsoever that history will vindicate the good name of George Walker Bush.

I join you of being proud of that 32%. History will indeed vindicate the name of George W. Bush, but he may yet do that in his own time. Many things are going to be coming up, and they are getting closer and closer.

George W. Bush is going to go down as one of the greatest Presidents in History in spite of so-called historians who re-write history to suit their whims. The truth will out... it always does!

Great post, Wordsmith. Excellent!

I am proud to be part of that percentage....I support our President completely. Actually I do not agree with the numbers....just like at election time...The left and the MSM tried to fool us...up to the very last minute...and our President won spite their efforts. Also I am glad our President does not waver....with his decisions for popularity. Great post!!

Suzie,

According to Curt at Flopping Aces, this is indeed another biased poll:

ALL AMERICANS
Democrat 50%
Republican 38%
Other (vol.) 4%
Don’t Know 7%

1012 Adults. Not registered adults, no likely voter adults. Just adults with a 12 point spread.

There's only one poll that matters and we took it November 2004.

Bush won with the largest number of votes EVER CAST for President.

And that wasn't all right wing Christians, but Jews, Blacks, Hispanics and Women, who had previously voted Democrat.

2006 is going to be tough, but we have no choice but to pull out all the stops to win the battle for Congress.

It seems too many of our conservative friends have been beaten down by the unrelenting drumbeat of negativity by Democrats, who have also manipulated our conservative friends to be angry with President Bush on issues like Harriet Miers, Dubai Ports or Immigration.

I said recently that if people won't work 100% for VICTORY this November because they only got 80% of what they wanted in the past two years, we're going to be shocked to find we get only 30% of attention to issues we care with House Speaker Pelosi in charge.

It was probably comprised of illegal immigrants and libs with the polling. (LOL) Yes, indeed....it is bias....I don't believe the numbers at all and never will.... esp. if negative by the MSM. I know better, people do not support these crazy looney libs and their secular ways. Some people may disagree on a few issues with the President but they would rather him be there than Kerry....(wish they would do a poll on that)

I don't know, Suzie. I live in a blue state, and can believe the poll numbers are not in Bush's favor. But I also firmly believe that he is one of the best, most effective, far-thinking Presidents we've ever had. He thinks big. And the fact that he pisses off so many liberals reassures me that he is on the right track.

It is the few individuals, despite their usually unpopular view, that make the difference that matters in this world. It is a universal fact that the right thing to do is never the popular ideal.

-Margaret Mead

This above quote typifies the difficulty faced by Bush and anyone who supports the Presidents domestic or foreign policies.

I prefer truth over popularity, I guess that would put me in the minority :)
