Sorry about the light posting; and the lack of visitations from me to all my favorite blogs. Since I'm at the gymnastics club all day (due to summer camp hours), I barely even get the mainstream news. Just snippets here and there. I can assure you that in spite of some of the pro-Israel support out here (and I teach a lot of Jewish kids) in Los Angeles, American Jews still seem overwhelmingly liberal and anti-Bush.

Too funny! Like John, my parents had interesting taste in their album collections. For us it was Roger Miller "Can't Roller Skate in a Buffalo Herd". The Smothers Brothers were another favorite.

One of my favorite Cash songs,and rarely heard on radio. Strange to see the video. It was surely during Johnnys speed days. He looked like a skeleton,and even screwed up on his guitar a few times. But still a great video. Wish I new how to post the video's like that...your a genious wordsmith.

Slowly but surely the Jews are coming around. It may never fully happen but many are seeing the light. Jewish guilt is a powerful thing and one of the main things that makes liberalism so natural for them (Mona Charen's words, not mine).
I understand that many American Jews have socialist leanings. But it's difficult to understand how they can so passionately dislike the best friend Israel has ever had.
Unless of course they believe John Kerry who said that if he were President "none of this" in Lebanon would be happening.
Probably right. Israel would have been destroyed by now.

Break time isn't completely by choice, Mike. I have this annoying thing called "having a job" that takes me out of the house from around 7 am to 8pm this summer. It's hard to catch up on the news and make my rounds...and I've been too tired to think of something to blog about; I could easily make a post, but I don't want to make a post for the sake of posting.
Angry American....if you go to YouTube, find a video, and look for the embeddable code. Cut and paste. If you happen to go out of html mode when creating your post, you will have to revert back to html and insert "/embed" each time you go out of the mode. Hope that helps you.
I have a kid in camp who is Iranian. One day she blurted out "I hate the president. My dad says he just wants war." She was referring to the Iranian president, Ahmadinejad.
Later on, she went into her little rant again and another kid thought she meant President Bush. So I said "she means the president of Iran". Then the Iranian girl said "I hate President Bush too. Any president who wants war."
