Doing the Enemy's Work for Them

The jihadists follow our politics much more closely than people realize. A friend at the Pentagon just sent me a post by the “Global Islamic Media Front” carried by the jihadist Web site Ana al-Muslim on Aug. 11. It begins: “The people of jihad need to carry out a media war that is parallel to the military war and exert all possible efforts to wage it successfully. This is because we can observe the effect that the media have on nations to make them either support or reject an issue.”-Thomas Friedman, NYTimes

I'm too pissed out of my mind to write coherently right now. Maybe when I calm down. They did it in Vietnam, and they're doing it again. (Click the Cheney/CNN "X" gif if you don't know what, in part, I'm referring to).

Also, I'll refer you to these:

Flopping Aces
New Wars
EU Referendum
Jihad Watch (old post, but one example of many from CNN)
An Old Soldier
The Bosun Locker

CNN isn't called the Clinton News Network for nothing. They are despicable!!! It outrages me that they are so bent on being anti-American and dare I say it unpatriotic!!!

This is far from the first time. When hubby was in Baghdad, Aaron Brown ran footage of an American soldier in the gutter, dead. No faces, name tapes, or blood. But still, my only thought was, "Someone is going to wake up at 6 am tomorrow morning to see the chaplain standing at the door and realize that was their BABY dead on TV."

I emailed Brown, and received a reply... "I didn't think it was that bad."

Is there someone in a sealed box ten feet underground somewhere who doesn't know American boys and girls are dying in Iraq and Afghanistan? Death sells for them. THey could give a flying poo about the "importance of the story", it's about their ratings.

It's most certainly not about those people who might have just witnessed their loved one's dying on a news program.

I also remember that during the invasion of Iraq CNN showed footage of an Iraqi with a handheld rocket launcher they stood in the window fired the rocket launcher, and then ducked back behind the window. A tank then blew a whole in the building, and bodies went flying. The first time I saw it it was live I saw it several times after that. Only the next times they did'nt show the guy with the rocket launcher. Only the American tank blowing a whole in the building, and bodies flying. I can't even watch CNN for mare then about 5 minutes without getting p*ssed off,and turning the channel

I don't watch CNN because I can't stand them, but I went to the link and e-mailed my opinion anyway. I wish all real Americans would do so! I feel like you do, Wordsmith! Completely fed up!

Sorry I haven't been over this way for a while. Been busy keeping a tab on the moonbats and reading dozens and dozens of polling reports.

Now, regarding your post: You remember weeks ago when Ted Turner said he resented being asked to choose whether he was "for us, or with the terrorists?"

It's pretty clear that he and CNN made up their minds on that one.

And why shouldn't they side with the "freedom fighters." After all, Rosie O'Donnell, one of the left's spokesthings insists that right wing Christians have killed more people than terrorists.

The "unvarnished truth". CNN and other MSM outlets wouldn't know the truth if it smacked them in the face!

Thanks for the comments, all. Sorry I've not followed up on responding. Just been very busy. And there's been a lot that I've wanted to say on this.
