If only our media reported like that today.
Boy are those days long gone.
The media and our President have failed to demonize the enemy and to put forth in a credible manner the victories achieved in this war.
I find myself disheartened lately. We've lost the propaganda war, and I fear that the loss of the military war will follow.
I went to the link but couldn't get the link there to enlarge the print, so I wasn't able to read it.
I'm pretty certain that I get the point though. The MSM doesn't show the stories they need to show and they've effectively left a large majority of the public in the dark. I'm afraid that AOW is right. I can't see the glass half full when it isn't! :(
Well I will not lose hope just because the media are a bunch of nitwits!
The Troops are doing fine, the Surge is working, things may seem grim in the media but most all of us have begun to rely on the Internet for the true information about what is going on over in Iraq.
We sure cant depend on the doom and gloom media to get our hopes up. They WANT us to lose.
Well dammit, I wont let these idiots in the MSM get me down.
I read this article a couple of years ago and it is so appropriate for today.
If only the MSM had the scrupples and the patriotism of WWII reporters who understood the necessity of not revealing startegy or secrets and also reporting the truth and good news to bolster folks at home!
Wow!! Awesome, awesome title for this post. You always come up with such great lines. I am in awe of your greatness :-)!!
Thank you, Chatterbox. Rumsfeld deserves half the credit. (^_~)
