Once again, Europe doing what it can to embarrass not only the US due to its refusal to ratify Kyoto, but the current admin because it is, after all, not Left Like Them.

LLCT nailed it on the head: only IDIOTS would make ANY award to Arafat, much less for PEACE.

I think the "Evolution of the Nobel Prize" is spot-on, Wordsmith.

T1G made a comment on my post (thanks for linking!) re the award to Gore that the Nobel Committee was resorting to slapstick, LOL.
