I like writing it "algore", it kind of sounds like some small car that never really quite caught on back in the 60's or 70's.

This prize lost all credibility when it was awarded to Yasser Arrafat.

Once again, Europe doing what it can to embarrass not only the US due to its refusal to ratify Kyoto, but the current admin because it is, after all, not Left Like Them.
LLCT nailed it on the head: only IDIOTS would make ANY award to Arafat, much less for PEACE.

I cant believe the people that vote and hand these Nobel Peace Prizes out really.
Carter? Arafat? Gore? WTF?
And not one for the man who ended the Cold War without firing a shot!?!?
I think the "Evolution of the Nobel Prize" is spot-on, Wordsmith.
T1G made a comment on my post (thanks for linking!) re the award to Gore that the Nobel Committee was resorting to slapstick, LOL.
