History is on the March...

"We're going to pick up Senate seats as a result of this war. Senator Schumer has shown me numbers that are compelling and astounding."
--Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, April 12.

"History is happening, while America sleeps....and while Congress is out to lunch, with Harry Reid serving up the crow chowder.

This is largely the case; although, more and more Americans are at least starting to come out from the fog of 4 years of drumbeating negativity from the MSM. In fact, the good news coming out of Iraq these days has been so undeniably overwhelming in the right direction, that even the mainstream media can no longer suppress it; and the embargo on good news is slowly being lifted. Even John Murtha was caught telling a truth.

“The surge hasn’t accomplished its goals… We’re involved, still, in an intractable civil war.”
- Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

"Since retaking Congress in November 2006, the top foreign policy priority of the Democratic Party has not been to expand the size of our military for the war on terror or to strengthen our democracy promotion efforts in the Middle East or to prevail in Afghanistan. It has been to pull our troops out of Iraq, to abandon the democratically elected government there, and to hand a defeat to President Bush."
-Senator Joe Lieberman in a speech at
Johns Hopkins University's School of Advanced International Studies, earlier last month.

Awsome Post Word,

History is in the making and all Dingey Harry Reid is doing at this point is lying to the American people.

It's becoming obvious that the entire situation has improved in Iraq and the media cant ignore it anymore (I predicted that :-)

I knew there would come a day when they HAD to report the good news because there is to much of it.

Those pictures of the kids and the schools make tears swell up in my eyes.

Why do the Democrats hate President Bush and this Country so much that they would begrudge the Iraqi people a chance at a normal life and a chance to be free? And our Troops taking part of the most historic change the Middle East has ever seen.

I really wish the Harry Reid's would STFU!

Marie,

Why do the Democrats hate President Bush and this Country so much...?

The Democrats don't really hate the country, they just don't give a rip about it beyond its being a tool to get (and keep) them in power. And they hate President Bush because he has the nerve to hold the office they believe is their right and destiny.

Well done Word. Just another note about how it is getting better there.

I have some friends who are Salvation Army officers and they are leaving early next year to start The Salvation Army first in Kuwait then in Iraq!

That is how safe it has become!

Ho!Ho!Ho!

Merry Christmas, Word!

I find it ironic the Dems and the media are trying to ignore the Elephant in the room - Success of the Surge in Iraq.

I really wish Harry Reid would read Michael Yon's Dispatch.

Geraldo Rivera broadcast on Bill O'Reilly from Iraq and for the first time was able to walk around without being vested up. That says a lot all by itself, Wordsmith.

This is a wonderful good news post. Thanks! :)

Thanks for the comments, all.

I'm sorry I've been bad these days at direct replies, more often than not. It feels like all I can do just to keep up with reading and posting, sometimes.

Just realize that I do appreciate the thought put into the comments and am not ignoring anyone.

Alright, I am going to add some gas to the fire. Reid is a Mormon. Go check your sources because I speak the Mormon truth. I can't stand the SOB. He is a freak. I hope the Mormon God gives him a boil on his butt.
