First, for the record, I don't think Obama is a Muslim.
As far as the soldier, I think mentioning him was a cheap trick. The analogy that comes to mind is apples and oranges. This soldier is an American hero. He gave his life for a country he obviously loved.
The issue with Obama is not whether he is a Muslim, it's that he has lived his life associating with anti-American radicals. The list is endless and almost certainly incomplete, Ayers, Wright, Pfleger, Bernardine Dohrn, Michelle, etc. These associations, and these associations alone, would make him being a Muslim disturbing.
I would go even further and say Powell owes this soldier's family an apology for equating him to Obama. Obama doesn't hold a candle to this man.
I love true believers, they don't need facts, they have already made up their minds...
