Regarding this stuff, I kept watching and thinking about what we'd do if a landmark hotel in Beverly Hills or NYC was attacked. Would we go in shooting to kill all the terrorists or acting VERY careful not to kill them. If we DID hurt them, would they realize they could sue us because we didn't use something on our guns that could have prevented it...? I'm being silly, but I think you see where I'm going....
Fascinating that this hotel had taken down their heavy security and metal detectors 2 weeks ago. But, they entered the back side of the hotel, not where the security had been.

I think it's only a matter of time before something like this happens again on our shores; it's impossible to be on guard from all conceivable forms of attack without something eventually getting through. Our society is very open.
Would be nice if the handgun restrictions- especially getting a concealed carry permit- in California were more lenient.

I read the paper this morning and the AP was reffering to this dude as the "baby-faced" terrorists who said he wanted to live. Let's all weep for him.

I wonder if the AP thought the guy's gun was baby-faced too. Somehow, they don't seem to mind guns so much when they're in the hands of terrorists. They only think it's bad when good people own them.
Something is wrong when 10 young men can kill 170+ people before being killed or captured themselves. Just a couple of hotel guests with a handgun could have made SUCH a difference. Yup, take away the guns from the hands of the good guys and leave them in the hands of the poor terrorists. I read that the Muslim cemetaries don't want the terrorists bodies. How about it, is there a pig farmer out there somewhere that might be interested in some free fertilizer?
