"Need to Know" Open Post

Well, I'm approaching two weeks of being behind in the news. I know that means I've missed a lot of "in-depth" analysis and opinionating and important news items or "should be"-news-items-of-the-day from the blogosphere. Since work is still kicking my butt, what I'd like is for my visitors to tell me what they think are the "need to know" stories. I don't care if they are conservative or liberal, just link me up. Lead me to the light, and show me what you believe to be the most important, read-worthy blogposts of last week and this one. Link me up!

One thing I have to announce, is that yesterday I became the 1,138th blogger to sign up for the 9/11 2,996 Tribute project. It took me a while. I will be blogging on David Brandhorst, who is the 3 year old adopted son of my former manager, Ron Gamboa. Ron, Daniel, and their 3 year-old were all aboard Flight 175, the 2nd plane to hit the Towers.

In answer to your request....Watch the movie Obsession. Available online. 78 minutes.

The movie was mentioned on FNC several times last week.

(My apologies if you've already seen the movie. But it's not to be missed!)

Word, have to agree with AOW. Link up and spend 78 minutes watching radical Islam prepare for world domination.

Angel...I will be on my way shortly to read your posts.

aow and old soldier, that video is on my agenda.

My early morning client ditched me yesterday for Tony Blair, btw. She's a very affluent liberal, who thinks she's a conservative (fiscally, she is...but all of her news gathering is through the LA Times, CNN, Bill Moyers, and Charlie Rose). She belongs to some group that had tickets to see Prime Minister Blair at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel. About 2,000; then she got to shake hands with him at a much smaller reception, after, along with a $90 wretched chicken lunch. Although she is no fan of President Bush (but voted for him because she thought Kerry was much worse) and the war, she was just held charmed by Tony Blair and think he is a marvelously engaged speaker.

Hi Wordsmith... Work is such a necessary evil, isn't it? I also have to agree, "Obsession" seems to be the biggest one of the day (or the last several days), but I haven't watched it and you know why! ;)

I'll order it though, as soon as Net Flix gets it. I swear, I will be going to a satellite connection soon!

I feel so left out! Sob!

How the deuces Mike makes a living and finds time to blog and go play at the beach all the time, is beyond me.

I don't play at the beach ALL the time...

Heck, it's almost too hot to go down there.

P.S. You should see the movie Obsession. And a shorter 18minute viewing of "Pallywood" might be a good idea too.

Must be that gosh-darn global warming stuff.

And I swear by Golly, you do seem to go to the beach a lot! But I'm just trying to rib you for giving me grief over my post-count.

I don't know if I need to sit through Pallywood again. People should pick up Stephanie Gutmann's "The Other War", though.

I haven't seen Obsession, yet, but it's on my list. Work is getting in the way right now. (I'm supposed to be working even as I type this!)
Thanks for signing up for 2,996! Looks like we're getting there, but there are still a lot to go. Hope we can get them all taken care of!

I noticed that too, Word. I went to watch it and all I could find that worked were the trailers.

As for the 9/11 tribute: I've been assigned:

Marcello Matricciano

At World Trade Center

Why is it that work has to intefere with my blogging and social life?
