A Case of Erectile Finger Dysfunction (or "Effed" for short)

From the now famous Chris Wallace interview of an ex-President coming unhinged:
Clinton: Even the 9/11 Commission didn’t do that. Now, the 9/11 Commission was a political document, too. All I’m asking is, anybody who wants to say I didn’t do enough, you read Richard Clarke’s book.
That's just too rich. Remember that folks: former President Clinton himself called the 9/11 Commission Report, widely respected and heralded as bipartisan in their nonpartisan research and gathering, a "political document". (Off-topic, sorta: Regarding the recent Senate Select Committee on Intelligence findings, Flopping Aces has the relevant links and rebuttals)

As far as citing Richard Clarke over and over again and again during the interview, Byron York doesn't believe the Clarke book, "Against All Enemies", supports Bill Clinton as much as he would have us believe.

Clinton also asks of Wallace (waitaminute....who's interviewing who?!) whether or not he's asked the same "hard-hitting" question of anyone in the Bush Administration. I believe I heard on Michael Medved yesterday that Chris Wallace did ask Donald Rumsfeld the same question. Gay Patriot has the interchange, and more.

UPDATE (10/01/06): Hat tip to Little Miss Chatterbox for finding a video clip that I had been trying to search for. Enjoy!

Hello wordsmith! I corrected some of my outrageously hard to understand comments at Mike's for you to just find out that he doesn't like to play ball with me and my access was denied. I didn't honestly realize that he saw my opinions totally out of line and without any merit. Thus, I am asking you, if there is any sense of me to come and visit you every now and then or should I just keep on surfing the hell out?

Wordsmith: Just make sure you keep that moonbat commie lover in his cage... Other than that, he's all yours. We don't have any room at Mike's America for foreigners who insult Iraqi war vets when they visit the page.

I came to check out if you gave me the green light, and I thank you for giving me one! I also like your fair warning which is needed in these dangerous waters.

So, now I have to start "debating" with Mike at Wordsmith's house. For crying out loud, wouldn't it have been easier to do our dysfunctional squabbling right there, in the Mike's bunker?

I take a very strong exception to the insinuation that I insulted any war veterans. To me, to say that I don't believe the war in Iraq is the best way to go about solving the terrorism, doesn't mean that the men and women doing the fighting are doing anything wrong, immoral or criminal. It's their duty as soldiers to do the warring on behalf of the nation. The decision to go there is never up to soldiers but the politicians. They just follow the orders. As far as I know, the urge to go was felt most strongly by the likes of Rumsfeld, Chaney, Perle, Wolfowitch and even Junior. These are the guys I have an axe to grind with and I have never denied that. However, to once again to "misintrepet" me and use this kind of nonsense against me is pretty well kick to my balls. I didn't even have a chance to explain to mr. Churchill the true nature of my comments due to the fact that Mike denied my access. I do not mind debating with issues but with Mike that is not possible.

I have said it many times before but I repeat it again - I find you, Wordsmith, much more enlightened person and I am hoping that on this site I will get a better climpse of Republicanism.

Que sera, sera!

I don't think I've ever seen a former President act like Clinton did in that interview. The guy has proven time, and time again he has no class what so ever. I did love the fact that Clinton who for years has made sure to never ever point with his finger, and only use his thumb to get his point across kept waving his finger around. I kept wondering if Clinton would actually take a swing at the guy.

Better yet pekka, through your expositions on certain blogs, we get to see the inferior product of a socialist society.

You are a clarion for all that we never want to see in this nation.
