Message to the Clintonistas: "It's not all about you; it's about THE ENEMY."

Great advertising and promotion going on, thanks to the hysteria on the left. From what I can gather, this movie isn't about laying blame at the feet of the Clinton Administration, insofar as there was widespread failure on the part of everyone. The 2nd half of the movie, apparently, is highly critical of the Bush Administration. But I think the objective of the movie is to show that the War on Terror didn't begin on 9/11. It didn't even start at the beginning of the Clinton Administration.

Leave it to the narcissistic Clintonistas to make it all about them. Blame Bush, blame Bush, blame Bush. Criticize him for supposedly not admitting to any mistakes and missteps; 9 months of being asleep at the helm from the Bush Administration; 8 years of snoring under Clinton. The difference is, the Bush Administration is awake and fighting. Democrats want us to go back to bed and turn off the snooze alarm.

There must be something terribly wrong if the NY Times is praising this movie !@#$#@!

Something smells fishy here.

George Soros at work maybe?

That cartoon is great!

Cyrus Nowrasteh who wrote the screenplay was on Sean Hannity's radio program today. He said that when the program was viewed at the National Press Club in Washington, they only had time to show the first couple of hours. But they did send everyone home with a DVD of the second half which covers the Bush Administration.

Mike,

Cyrus was on Michael Medved as well. I don't know if they'll put the interview up before Sunday at Townhall.com, but it was another good hour. First hour was excellent as well.

I suspect besides being protective of the Clinton legacy, Dems are fearful of this movie because it comes out right before the November Elections.

Yeah, the NYTimes giving a good review...must be part of the vast rightwing conspiracy and proof-positive that this movie is a Republican propaganda vehicle.

Jen,

I'd still like to know what Sandy Burglar felt was so important that he had to stuff documents from the National Archives down his pants.

Wordsmith,
As you know, I was on vacation when the story about this film broke. I have a lot of catching up to do!

However, I've noticed that the Clintons have tantrums about any information which doesn't contribute to "the Clinton legacy" in a way flattering to Bill Clinton. Furthermore, I've always believed that Berger was determined to hide something--perhaps something which the American public is entitled to know.

*sigh* Evidently freedom of speech only pertains to the left. Conservatives evidently don't have the same rights as liberals. For instance, Michael Moron can put out whatever he wants and nobody stops him... infuriating!

The NYT's gave a good review? That's scary!

Actually, it's really about GW and Condi ignoring a memo reading "Bin Laden poised to strike within the US." And it's about the Taliban being back in power five years later, and Bin Laden being free, and 2100 Americans being killed in a useless war against Saddam, who had nothing to do with Al Qaida.

By the way, it's nice to watch the same creeps who were weeping over the Reagn TV movie now trumpeting FREE SPEECH!

Yes, in the last hour of the movie, from what I've read. Were there specifics in that memo? Noooo...

Now quit ignoring the failures of the previous 8 years. Planning for 9/11 did not begin on George Dubbya's watch.

And it's about the Taliban being back in power five years later,

The Taliban is still getting their asses kicked. Quit conflating and conflatulating.

and Bin Laden being free,

The area he's suspected of being in is the size of California. What do you want us to do? Work with Pakistan and our allies, or do as we please? He'll get his.

and 2100 Americans being killed in a useless war

2100? You're behind on your numbers, friend. It's over 2600. But that number pales in comparison to the sacrifice in previous wars; and this war is hardly useless. Iraq is central to the global war on Islamo-fascist terror.

against Saddam, who had nothing to do with Al Qaida.

Well, at least you didn't shrill about that nonsequiter nonsense claim that was never made: "Saddam had nothing to do with 9/11". As far as ties between al-Qaeda and Saddam, there are numerous examples to cite. Flopping Aces has a nice roundup of just some of them. Stephen Hayes has done a credible job of research on this as well as Christopher Hitchens. Certainly has more credibility than liar Joe Wilson.

Yeah, ain't it though? Difference is, our Republican governmental leaders weren't the ones exercising their governmental positions and powers of influence to pressure and threaten CBS.

Thanks for visiting Chris.
