Michael Vick is a genetic mental mutant. Who else but someone in that category would sacrifice $130 million dollars over 6 years (plus millions in endorsement) for, of all beyond-ridiculous things, DOG fighting.

The guy is a jerk in the largest sense of the word and a stupid one to boot!

I have to admit being more than a little biased in this - our dog Ike is a pit-mix (although we refer to him by his "other" half in public). We catch no end of flak from people who only know what digusting animals like Vick provoke these animals into, rather than the sweet dog who walks the rounds of my house three times a night to check on everyone and sleeps with my 4 year old son.
BZ's description is very accurate, Wordsmith. "An illiterate, mutnt moron" fits Vick to a "T". I love your title too!
Pit bulls have gotten a bad rap because illiterate, mutant morons like Vick mistreat them and train them to be mean. I've known several people who owned pit bulls. They had them from puppies and raised them with love. Those adult Pit Bulls were just as gentle as my Black Lab, and that's pretty gentle. I don't call her "Sweety" for nothing.
I heard someone on Fox News (I don't remember who) say this morning that Vick would be playing full force next season, or in 09 for sure. That this will blow over. Well, considering many people's short memories regarding 9/ll, perhaps so, but I sure hope not!

My favorite thing on TV is seeing them sell Mike Vick dog chews. That's a riot.
I'm a dog lover. I had a big black hunting dog not long ago and I need another one. A friend of mine breeds Doberman Pinchers, they are very smart dogs but like Pitbulls and Rotweilers they make you home owners insurance more expensive. I'll stick to hunting dogs. Maybe a Gordon Setter this time but I love Golden Retreivers too!!!! I need another Bird dog!!!
