Sorry I haven't visited lately. I've been involved in yet another move. And I'm not done yet. I have had little time to be online. Nevertheless, I am back and posting semi-reguarly.

I remember reading about David Reed Gamboa-Brandhorst before, Wordsmith. What a beautiful child! What happened to him and to so many others is far to sad for me to dwell on for very long, but neither can we ever let ourselves forget.

Yes, today is the anniversary of 9-11. Many people are worried about that, believing that we may be attacked on the anniversary of that awful day, but I don't think so. I think the murderous thugs realize that to attack us badly while Bush is still in office would only unite us, although with the moonbats in America I'm not sure that's true at all.

God bless those who perished and those who fought for life that day. God bless those who have fought and died for our freedoms in defense of this nation and those who stand in freedoms gap defending this nation today.

And of course GOD BLESS AMERICA!

Nice tribute Word. To answer your question about the cross. I don't know what they did with the Cross. They have started a museum at the Smithsonian and they will have a museum at Ground zero. that I haven't had much time to read about. I will find out thought because I too am interested in what happened to it. I had forgotten about it with everything else that is going on. That's why we have these kinds of days of remembrance and tributes, so things like that won't be forgotten, they were important at the time.

It even more difficult to view images or video of the twin towers that day...I REFUSE to watch the death of Marcello and David.
