As usual Obama speaks and it has no truth, substance or reality. But liberal voters drool because he said it.
The guy has NOTHING and tries to make it sound like something!
That is a classic definition of a, "Con Artist!"
Wordsmith, you know Walt (hubby) was career military. He went totally balistic when he heard Obama say this. I thought he was going to explode! Also, Obama presented it like it happened yesterday. This man is extremely devious and dangerous. Of course I know I'm not telling you anything you don't know.

My take on his comments is; it is better to be thought an idiot than open it and prove it without a doubt.
When you hear stupid things like this you just have to take a deep breath. There has never been in a time of war that some unit was not short of men, low on ammunition or spare parts. This is what happens when you fight a war, even during peacetime this stuff happens with the military. This is why we spend so much time training our people. Things like this happen to both sides but our people are trained to overcome and adapt, to use the resources that are availble to them and to prevail. It has nothing to do with the commander in Chief. I wonder if Obama ever thought just what al qaeda is thinking when a Presdential candidate has this kind of knowledge about fighting a war.
Gosh, people go to his rallies and think this guy is a some of savior or genius. It says a lot about the people that think that way.

If Obama enters the general election and faces off against the RINO, statements like these will have McCain ripping him a new orifice.
Gayle said what I have been saying ever since I first heard this story: "Obama presented it like it happened yesterday."
His statement was MISLEADING and I would think Dems who have spent the last 7 years huffing and puffing about George Bush "lying" would want a candidate who was above that kind of thing.
Apparently, I am wrong. The Obama Zombies will swallow ANY lie if it comes with a catchy slogan.

Obama knows very little about the military. Indeed, he knows very little about America. He never served, has taken no interest in military affairs, and knows only what textbooks teach about the country he wishes to lead.
He knows how to market himself, and how to speak the language of hope and possibility. These elements are basic to American life and are very difficult, if not impossiple, to counter. Against the rhetoric of dreams, reality is wholly inadequate.
