John McCain, 41 Years Ago Today.....
Was shot down over Hanoi on his 23rd mission...
John McCain is pulled out of a Hanoi lake by a mix of North Vietnamese Army (NVA) and Vietnamese citizens in this October, 1967 file photo. McCain, currently a Republican presidential candidate, was shot down by a Surface-to-Air Missile (SAM) and had broken both arms and his right knee upon ejection, losing consciousness until he hit the water. You're welcome, dear one. Any time.
And to think, that tragic day has been his biggest political asset ever since.
Merge, his biggest asset is that he actually CARES about this country, unlike a lot of liberals I know. His second biggest asset is that, whether you like what he says or not, you can believe it. I don't agree with all his views, but at least I know where he stands BEFORE Nov 4th! You can not say that about NOBAMA with a straight face!
And to think, that tragic day has been his biggest political asset ever since.
And to think the invention of the teleprompter has been Barack Obamuh...uh...uh..uh's greatest political asset. Go figure.
I'm a little hazy on dates, isn't this about the time Obama was preparing for his first day of Islamic studies?
LOL Wordsmith! You've got it exactly right. Without the teleprompter Obama wouldn't have made it to first base!
I don't agree with all of McCain's policies either, but at least I know he's an honorable man and that he has always made sacrifices for this country. I'd like to know what sacrifices Obama has made?
Anyone?
