How exactly is the economy doing poorly? And what does President Bush have to do with gas prices?

Its so ridiculous. The economy is doing better now or at least the equivalent of when Clinton was in office and thats ALL we ever heard about. Clinton may be a moral reprobate but look how good the economy is doing. We don't want to screw that up!! Total Double standard!!!!!

Well, in my opinion, these polls do not reflect my feelings on any of them. I support the President and feel he is not getting the credit he deserves on many fronts.

The booming economy is not getting the coverage that it should, actually it is breaking records.

The Dems and the libs in the media make the leap that low approval numbers for Bush somehow translate into support for Democratics.

I don't think that's the case at all.

A problem is, the poll numbers do matter in the sense that it affects what President Bush can get done in Congress.
