The No-Confidence Resolution

Today's the day that the House Resolution will probably pass. I don't know how many of you have been watching CSPAN, but I have never felt like throwing anything at the TV set before, like I have when listening to House Democrats posture and pontificate as if they alone speak for the troops.

They and the White Flag Republicans do much damage to us by passing this Resolution. If General David Petraeus' strategy in Iraq fails, its defeat will have had a helping hand from our elected officials in Washington who have sent a message to Iran and to our enemies in Iraq that America has no confidence and no will to outlast them in this fight. Just hang in there long enough, and America will put its tail between its legs and abandon 26 million Iraqis to more suffering and violence. And how exactly will this dishonor and disgrace make America safer?
