Sunday Music Video Break: Bonny Portmore

The only scene worthwhile in Highlander 3, for which I had first discovered the music of Loreena McKennitt, lo these many moons ago.....

My favorites by Loreena McKennitt are:

The Mummers Dance
The Mystics Dream
Dante's Prayer

Just as you I discovered her music many moons ago.

As an English major, one of my favorites is "The Lady of Shalott". How brilliant is that, to take an actual poem and spin beautiful music to it, regardless of length? Still, she cut out two stanzas. But what better lyricist to use than a classic poet, the stature of Alfred Lord Tennyson?

Arthurian romance is also a favorite topic of mine.
