I question her judgment...and lack thereof

Interesting to take a look at the foreign policy advisors Obama and Clinton are aligning themselves with.

Perplexing that Hillary Clinton would add to her team Sandy Berger, who resigned from the Kerry campaign due to scandal, and who subsequently was sentenced for it. His pockets, after all, carry the political baggage of a bungled burgle.

Richard Miniter:

My informed sources suggest that what Berger destroyed were copies of the Millennium After-Action Review, a binder-sized report prepared by Richard Clarke in 2000—a year and half before the 9-11 attacks. The review made a series of recommendations for a tougher stance against bin Laden and terrorism. There are 13 or more copies of this report. But only one contains hand-written notes by President Bill Clinton. Apparently, in the margin beside the recommendations, Bill Clinton wrote NO, NO, NO next to many of the tougher policy proposals.

You can see why Clinton might be happy to see these records vanish down the memory hole.

So Berger was stuffing in pants and socks and later shredding the evidence that President Clinton did not want to take a tougher line on bin Laden, following the 1998 attack on two U.S. embassies that killed 224 people (including 12 American diplomats).

Good post, Wordsmith. Also, it is the buzz that the Clinton campaign is behind the stall in the dvd distribution of "The Path to 9/11". These people and their minions stop at nothing to grab power. Same bunch of thugs and thieves.

Nothing that the Clintons do, either one of them, would surprise me any more. All I need to know is that we cannot ever believe anything they say. Unless they come out and admit they're both liars, schemers, and thieves, they may as well babble in Chinese.

Dang Word you're on a tear!

I have been on this story for years and I can only come to one conclusion.

I think Sandy Burglar stole those classified memos/documents because he was told to by those that figured 'then' was a good time to get rid of anything that would look bad on Hillary.

They had it in the works for years that they were going to run Hillary for President and they cant have ANYTHING get in her way!

That's also why ABC isnt releasing the DVD version of "Path To 9-11".

The one thing that bothers me is why oh why on earth with President Bush in office did Sandy Burglar get a pat on the wrist?

If it was a Republican that did that, say for instance: Condi Rice, there would be NO let up on it. The Democrats would call for her head on a platter presented to Congress!

I forgot to mention I wrote my Senator Inhofe about all this and he replied that it was strange that the very next day after Sandy Burglar stole those documents that John Kerry gave a Foreign Policy speech!

But I still tink there was more to it.

Sandy Berger would not have risked his own freedom unless it was something of such damning proportions such as what you suggest Word. Hillary is now hiring Berger to keep him quiet but I don't think he's much for this world after that. I think the dreaded disease of Clintoncide will soon be a diagnosis for Sandy Berger.
