In 2000, I was flipping through channels and saw this charismatic guy with a mic, long-hair with a few locks tied together in a pony-tail in the back, start trash-talking whoever it was in the ring. For the next couple of years, I was hooked!
For near 3 years, he's been out, recharging his batteries and pursuing other interests. I lost interest in wrestling. Then I heard he was ready to come back, although it was supposed to be somewhat of a big secret.
I'm telling you, 2000-1 were magic years with some entertaining storylines, and some good personalities in the ring.
When I heard the Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah was making a comeback, I had to mark out, and post something on my blog.
Sorry if this is abuse of what's otherwise been a political blog.
To tie it in, I think many of the wrestlers lean to the right, and the WWE annually goes overseas to entertain and support the troops.
